The Aguzzi farm is located in Sermide, a town situated on the tip of the province of Mantua, to the south of the River Po, in a particularly fertile area suitable for the cultivation of melons and watermelons. During the winter of 1988 the Aguzzi family began production of these fruits in 30 experimental greenhouses. Today the company owns 700 greenhouses over 35 hectares. Another 15 hectares are devoted to open field cultivated melons. The melons, watermelons and pumpkins come from integrated production to reduce the impact on the environment. The company’s goal is to offer the consumer a natural product that tastes great.
