Fruttexport Qualità was founded in the 1930s and from the very beginning it specialised in the production and marketing of table grapes, melons, peaches and nectarines, initially on the domestic market then on foreign markets. The products are grown following the principles of integrated pest management in areas of exceptional pedoclimatic conditions. The company, which now serves leading supermarket chains, has two warehouses for processing and packaging: the first is in Mazzarrone and is dedicated to table grapes (Italia, Vittoria and Red Globe varieties), peaches and nectarines. The second warehouse in Scordia is dedicated to melons. Part of melon cultivation takes place in Morocco, so as to extend the product availability calendar.
