Messina Francesco Srl is a family run company, founded more than 50 years ago in Apulia, a land that boasts an ancient tradition in table grape cultivation. In 1950 the company started marketing the “Zibibbo” variety from Pantelleria in northern Europe, and later the “Regina” variety. In 1962 it started cultivating the well-known “Italia” variety. In 1980, the volume of table grapes sold reached one million and 800 thousand kilos. Two years later the company started marketing seedless table grapes in the UK, and in 1995 in the Usa. Today the Messina Francesco firm markets more than 7,000 tonnes of seedless table grapes.
